Just 45 minutes away from San Isidro you will discover the lovely  beaches and eco-rich jungles of Dominical. There are many different activities for you to choose from to make your vacation adventurous - or just sit back and relax.


Our beautiful beaches are known to surfers around the world, and our well-trained and locally supported lifeguards will help swimmmers of all ages enjoy the water safely.  Ocean kayaking or river kayaking is available, as well as boat rentals for sport fishing or in-shore mangrove trips. 

Guided canopy tours and jungle hikes are popular excursions, or we can assist you in booking horseback tours to spectacular waterfalls.  Costa Rica is famous for its variety of birds and animals, and the bird and critter watching in our area is exceptional.


The Dominical Little Theatre has wonderful productions open to the public several times per year, and live music to dine by or dance to is often available at one of our fun local bars. Boruca Indian handmade masks, textiles and other items are available at the Banana Bay gift shop in Plaza Pacifica, and several surf shops, general stores and art galleries also offer unique items in our little town.  There are many choices in Dominical and in the area for fine dining, or you can always buy fresh fish at a local market and cook it yourself.

We have a Spanish language school which will tailor their curriculum to suit your needs, and surf schools for all levels of experience and ages.
